I question them, and I question God. I look for evidence in the scripture and I talk to elders in the faith for counseilng.

Consult with knowledgeable and trustworthy pastors, mentors, or fellow believers. They can provide valuable insights and help you discern the accuracy of the teachings.

Those kinds of circumstances push me to study more and validate what I know is the truth. If the teaching is proven false, I mark those teachers and open the case to other believers, so they too will be on guard.

You don’t allow them into your home to corrupt your doctrinal faith.

I believe it is crucial as a Christian to be able to identify false doctrine. We should be studying through hermeneutically and exegetically on our own first in order to start to deal with false doctrine. This foundation would allow you to speak to leaders in your church about the issue and hopefully it is addressed. We need our churches to do more vetting when it comes to speakers and preachers.
