In analyzing a biblical worldview, which distinctive would be most compelling to your non-Christian friends? Why?

I think the distinctive that would be most compelling would be having inherent value and meaning that is not contingent on actions or behavior. Other worldviews offer value and purpose and meaning based on actions or behavior or none at all but Christianity says that you have inherent value because you are a creation of God and an image-bearer of God.
Christianity also says that we have meaning and purpose because of the work and life of Christ. I feel like as a non-believer, that’s appealing because I believe we all desire to have value and worth as well as meaning and purpose and Christianity offers both freely without any “pre-requisites” of earning either.

The Bible and Ethics are the most compelling to my non-Christian friends. Ethics, right and wrong ring true in the heart of most people. From the “Golden Rule” to basic human rights, most humans are decent in thought and understanding. Meeting them there from a biblical standpoint is very compelling with Christ being the foundation of moral ethics.

The Bible and the Future
People worry about what the future holds but when you take full hold of this view you no longer worry about what the future holds because you know that God has the future in His hands. -
What seems to draw interest is the Bible and the future. People wonder what the future holds and it usually is not a positive view. Many do not like to hear about the afterlife or about the Book of Revelation and the end of the age, however, the Bible offers hope and a very positive view of the future. That hope extends an invitation to accept Jesus Christ and be part of it.

The fact that no matter how hard we try not to sin, we sin. We have a problem we cannot fix ourselves but God provided the answer through the death and resurrection of His son Jesus Christ who live a perfect sinless death on earth.
