Having a Savior that walks with us through all of life and promises a future with Him in Heaven is a great attraction to me and those in my small group. We do not expect God to protect us from all of the bad things in life, but to rather lead and guide us through the trials as we focus on Him. I think it is pretty amazing that He knew He had a plan that involved Christ from the beginning to rescue His people, because we are flawed and in need of a Savior.

I think the world is replete with evil and personal guilt and shame that is tangible to a non-Christian, and the explanation of sin in the Biblical Worldview and God’s provision for it is extremely compelling as it answers core fundamental need for forgiveness as answer to sin.

I believe the truth that Jesus Christ came to save the world after the fall of Adam and Eve. He gives us a choice of whether to accept this truth or not. God brought his son Jesus to save the world, not to condemn the world. Because the world was already condemned through sin. Jesus came to pay our sin debt that we all have been born into this world.

I would say that life is temporary, and the Bible doesn’t say you’ll have success and riches like the prosperity gospel does. Because the Bible says you’ll have many trials and tribulations, not a life of prosperity where the true reward is in heaven forever with Christ.

It depends on the friend, but I would go with a half/half purpose/creation argument. Understanding that there is an origin to everyone’s existence and that origin bred a purpose for us to love our Creator and to live in His love and grace as we serve Him.
