I think the accuracy of the scriptures and believing all scripture is God breathed is compelling. The book is considered the most accurate history book of all time. It is written with precision.

The answer to “why evil?” would be the question most people would have about God. Why the choice? So the backstory of rebellion by God’s angel, Lucifer, would describe the why. God created human beings for relationship and chose to love and be loved. Ultimate love is giving choice. Our decision to obey or follow God’s laws and plan for our redemption is on us. Evil is on us.
God provides the good in Jesus.

When analyzing the biblical worldview, being created in God’s image, as well as eternity would be the most compelling to my non-Christian friends. As we experience this life, we are God’s children, protected by Him, loved by Him but also given free will to make our own choices. Our choices can guide us to a life of eternity or even a life of eternal damnation.

I believe the distinctive of “meaning” would be most compelling for non-believers. When we come to understand our life has meaning in Christ, only then can we come to appreciate and understand that every work, thought, and action has both a present and eternal impact. I believe this would compel even more non-believers to thoughtfully consider the weight and impact of their decisions in daily life, and even more so, if they understood that decisions have an eternal impact.

I believe that Jeremiah 29:11 gives the best example of what would be most compelling to any non-Christian. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. This is an almighty sovereign God that there is hope and a real purpose to life and a future worth looking forward to and working towards. This would be appealing to most people and draw them in to want to become acquainted with and eventually accept Christianity.
