They had all they need and squandered it. They were driven by selfish motives that ultimately took over and drowned out any true goodness. They let their flesh and selfishness desires overpower them. The rejected what they knew to be right and true to please themselves.

When we live our rule outside God’s planned design, chaos creeps in, and there is no path to success. In leadership, we must continue to seek God’s will and lead by his design.
