Making it about us and not about the Will and Glory of God.

I think that we should try our best to let our pride get in the way of our relationship with others and the Lord. The pride of Saul got the best of him, and he wasn’t able to see the kingdom of God but rather his own kingdom

I shouldn’t have on focus on my flesh. I must serve the Lord, and I should always be selfless.

I would say pride. It seems they stopped trusting God and started trusting themselves.
