In briefly considering Saul and Solomon, what spiritual hazards should we avoid?

Saul and Solomon both drifted from God which ultimately lead to them drifting from their King responsibilities to the people. The people then drifted as well.
Saul became jealous of David and that lead him to sinning even more. Solomon chased after worldly things to the point where he didn’t even look set apart.

We should avoid the hazard of ever seeing ourselves as more than we are in God’s eyes. As soon as we start to take credit for God’s works as our own we have fallen into the hazard of the devil.
