Avoid doing things our own way. Avoid being all about you and not listening to God. This leads to waste and ineffectiveness.

Both strayed away from God and relied on their own wisdom and strength. They forgot they were nothing without God, and that He was in control.

We need to avoid greed and pride and live a life of obedience and humility.
