In briefly considering Saul and Solomon, what spiritual hazards should we avoid?

Considering Saul and Solomon, we should avoid the spiritual hazard of allowing our blessings and anointing from God to cause us to become complacent (and proud) enough to give in to things that displease God, be they be false religions, sexual immorality, cruelty and unfair judgement, or abusing the resources God has provided for our own selfish gain without caring for others. Additionally we should avoid the spiritual hazard of thinking or behaving as if we cannot fall from grace and be replaced by God.

To always follow the ways of God, and not be influenced by this world to alter God’s way, in any manner.

I THINK WE SHOULD AVOID THE HAZARDS OF THE WAYS OF THE WORLD.
GOD GIVES US FREE WILL, BUT WE AS PEOPLE SOMETIMES GO ASTRAY AND FOLLOW THE FRESH.
WE NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT TO GUIDE AND DIRECT US. -
From the biblical accounts, we see that Saul had a commanding physical appearance which eventually caused him to be self-reliant; leading him to be envious of anyone who threatened that Status and finally he became disobedient to God, failing his mission.
Solomon inherited outstanding material wealth and was very wise, unfortunately he eventually became very self-indulgent with these resources; thus leaving a legacy of sinfulness and disunity.
So, we should avoid spiritual self-reliance and self-indulgence both lead to disobedience to God.
