Pride and jealousy cause disruptions in the way God is leading us.

Pride. Our faith needs to be in God entirely. When we put ourselves on a pedestal we are easily knocked off it.

We should avoid pride in our success. Our success is given to us by God and should not be taken for granted.

Learning from Saul and Solomon, we should avoid the spiritual hazard of jealousy and anger.

Jesus taught that we must deny ourselves – both of these two men failed to do that. Instead of obeying God they were at times more concerned with their own fleshly desires.
