Because if you cannot live FOR Christ – through your interactions with others especially – then you cannot live IN Christ. If you believe in Christ and what He taught for living on this earth, then you MUST demonstrate it in your everyday activities and relationships. Otherwise, just go the way of the world and lose it all…

I heard a story about a very mean man who stayed in a fight not only for himself but also for those he thought couldn’t fight for themselves. Who gave his life to Christ; one day he went to play basketball full court. During the game he went for a rebound when this other player hit him with his forearm and he fell down hard on the ground. He stayed on the ground for a long time. All the players thought that he was hurt bad, when they came over to them he was laughing bewildered they ask him what was so funny. His response was that now he know that he was really saved, now they were perplexed then he said that if he wasn’t saved the person who hit him would be in the hospital. This man walked in the way that pleased Christ that was not the same person who they had known to be a mean fighter.
After I heard his story and seen how Christ changed his life I knew that He could do the same for me. -
Living the teaching of Jesus is the only way to walk the walk and talk the talk in Truth. He is our Master and our Mentor and our Model. Nothing else works.

That is what we need to do to be a true Christian and have eternal life. John says that whoever says I know Him and does not do what he commands, is a liar. Whoever claim to believe must live as Jesus did.
