When we live the way Christ teaches us and walk in fellowship with Him, it is a reminder of his grace and mercy. When we see His grace, mercy, and love for us on a consistent basis, we are reminded that we are in Christ. We will not be sinless, but we will sin less; and we will be convicted of our sin and reminder of our need for a Savior.

As we walk in Christ we have fellowship with Christ. We can only continue in this fellowship as our lifestyle conforms to the lordship of Christ.

If you are in Christ then you will want to live fully in Christ by living obediently and that is living a life of truth, love and righteousness and others will see that you are genuine by the quality of life you are living and they will want to follow and become interested in knowing Christ and that he died for our sins so that we can have salvation and eternal life.

I I don’t live the way Christ taught us, then I’m not following Christ, which also means I’m not in Christ (obeying His commands).
