I find it kind of wild that some of the eastern religions just consider the universe to be an eternal construct but don’t have a real set creator for it.

Each faith view God and the universe differently. some view God and the universe as one while others do not. Some view God as sustainer and the creator of the universe while others do not view God as a creator of the universe. some believe in many gods while as others believe in one supreme God who is the creator and sustainer of the universe.

Each faith has its own ideas of the universe and how it is maintained. Some use the earth and mysterious views to explain how the universe was created. The power of God and how He deals with us is at the forefront of the argument in answering such questions.

The best way to view the God of Creation is a personal, loving, and knowing God who hears and sees us.

The fact that each of the major faiths believe in a higher power impressed me the most. All five major faiths acknowledge there is a higher being greater than themselves. The way that each sees God varies though. It impresses me that each recognizes that there is in fact a God and creator. However, Hindus and Buddhists do not find God to be knowable or personal being that is distinct from the material world. To them God and the universe are one and the same.

I really do not see faith as faith if the individual believer holds all of the trump cards. Believing in God should mean believing in something greater than yourself. The Monotheist actually experiences life believing in something or someone, but the Pantheist seems to believe in themselves, they identify more so as a government or society of people with no really superior being or spiritual leadership. I can understand becoming as one with God when you die, but while you are living, to claim to become one with God is giving yourself the power you need to make all of your own decisions. Furthermore, I always thought that Buddha was a personal God like Allah, Yahweh, and Christ.
