In comparing the five major faiths, I see that they believe in a power greater than themselves. I am stunned that only Christianity has a form of religious belief that God sent his son to die for our salvation. This means to me that I can have a personal relationship with God. Which gives me contact with God daily as I walk through life

I was surprised at the Hindu and Buddhist view of the universe as a ‘thing’ or being in itself. I don’t think anything really impressed me about either of these. Other than, I suppose, the concept of the universe as a being.
Judaism, Christianity and Islam, I can see how they came out of the same people groups. Just a bit of a twist between the way Christians view good and evil as opposed to Muslims. I can see how that could be an explanation in Islam for good and evil.

What impressed me the most is how we have an ingrained belief in God or a higher power, even though our religions may be different, and our view of God may not be the same.

How each one has a belief in a a God/god, but how a relationship with Him/him is so different.
