Time of the prophet’s life/work and place/culture.

Understanding the culture and situation in which the prophet told Gods word.

The things I think that need to be considered are what time and the audience of the prophet’s message are taking place.

We should know when they were speaking and to whom they were speaking.

The two important considerations were the time of the writing and who the prophets were writing to. These gives a background to make sense of what the prophets were saying.
