He has the power to turn formidable obstacles into safe
pathways. Thats who God is, He is a supernatural God, and nothing can stop His plans. What’s beautiful about God is that, as He makes a way out of an impossible obstacle, He is showing His power and proving that He is able to be trusted as their God, provider, protector and guidance. As He performs miracles, He also is building faith in His people, so God’s power has a multi-faceted goal in mind. -
How God is able to part whatever waters He wants in the lives of His people and give them safe passage to the place to which He is leading them. This is relevant for today as we face our own obstacles in life and God remains the same God who would part the waters of the Jordan and He can do the same for us.

How God gave detailed instructions to Joshua to give to the Israelites, to remove twelve stones from the place where the priests stood firm in the Jordan River (where they obeyed), and to carry these stones with them and pitch them in Gilgal. These stones were to be a sign of God’s might and delivering power for the Nation of Israel and their descendants to come. Our God is a God of order, and He wants His mighty works to be remembered, and will give proofs of these acts that cannot be discounted.

The way He can take an obstacle and turn it into a safe pathway always amazes me. From our perspective it may look insurmountable, but with God all things are possible and He is worthy of our trust.
