In the section “Settlement: Seeing God,” what truth about God impressed you the most? Why?

God keeps His promises. I’ve struggled with the spirit of fear my entire life. Therefore I have allowed trust issues to rule over me. There was no trust for anyone not even God.
Lately the need to cry out for God help has increased in my life. Things started to happen that I could not ignore or attempt to fix or my own nor did I want to.
This total dependence on God is new. But, as I study my faith has increased like never before. I love knowing that God keeps His promises.

The fact that even though humanity is constantly rebelling against God and takes for granted all that the Lord provides to them, God still wants to make amends and make a way for humanity

God Nevers gives up on us even when we disobey him.

“He rescues those who trusts Him.” It makes me feel so blessed to have a trusting relationship with Him. Even if I sin and stumble, I can bring it to God, ask forgiveness, and continue my walk with Him.

I think the truth that He can turn obstacles into pathways. Many times we shy away from the formidable obstacles in our lives, but God uses them as a pathway forward in His plan and design.
