In the section “Settlement: Seeing God,” what truth about God impressed you the most? Why?

I love how God turns Obstacles into pathways for us to walk through with His strength. Our family has been through several health problems and have been able to see how God has turned those into pathways to help others going through the same situations. Our faith is strengthened each time we get through an obstacle that He provides a clear path with purpose.

For me, the fact that He keeps his promises and gives his people directions has been a testimony that I have experienced in my own life through my professional career and transition from public education into full-time ministry with FCA.

As much as we think we are making things happen in our lives, we are not! God has complete control!

As His people, we need to recognize that God is in complete control which should institute a healthy fear of the Lord. That produces obedience.

The truth about God that impresses me the most is that he has the ability and will turn formidable obstacles into pathways of safe passage. I have personal experienced this and give all the glory, honor and praise to our Lord and Savior!
