In the section “Settlement: Seeing God,” what truth about God impressed you the most? Why?

He wants nations to know of His might. It shows salvation through Christ must be made known to others, not kept for self.

God is patient with sinners, but His patience has limits. We know that God loves us and forgives our sin if we repent and believe in his sacrifice for us. Some unbelievers see God as a get out of jail free card. We cannot allow ourselves to live the way our flesh wants, in the world, just to be saved by God at the last second.

God is most reliable. He keeps His promises.

God is in control and knows the end from the beginning. This is why He is able to remedy the dilemma of the world and to give promises which He can fulfill. When man fell into sin, God also provided the promise of a Savior in Gen 3. When the nations sinned, God already raised men like Noah and Abraham to carry forth his purposes.

God never give up on man despite our failure. Whenever man messed up, God is always ready with his remedy to correct the wrong.
