In the section “Settlement: Seeing God,” what truth about God impressed you the most? Why?

The truth I always find amazing is that God constantly reveals himself in a variety of ways. In the Jordan River example in Joshua, we see God being very clear with direction and promising to be with us always. In addition, He makes obstacles into amazing opportunities that only can be described as God working in an amazing way. In my own life, I am able to use these amazing moments to stand in awe of what God has done and how I can share with others of His mighty works. I love to share how God is in control.

I was struck by the patience of God. God led them through the wilderness, and He brought them into a land of “land of milk and honey.” Still, the people didn’t trust him. He had to prove himself again and again. And he did! I need to remember that I serve a trustworthy Go.
Also, I found Josuha and Celeb amazing. They are true heroes of the Old Testament. -
After the tribes settled, they became independent. There was very little central government. After having traveled together those 40 years with Moses as leader, then Joshua leading them, they became more independent on their own.

Making his presence known; Because there’s nothing like God’s presence!! If you have ever been able to experience it, it’s an overwhelming but good/safe feeling that takes place!!

The truth about god that impresses me the most is that he makes his presence known. I am impressed with this because I have seen and felt this many times, A time when I was at a church camp when was 17 and it hit me like a train I just started crying and it felt so good almost like I was in an environment that was just me and him.
