In the section “Settlement: Seeing God,” what truth about God impressed you the most? Why?

He keeps promises. We live in a time when it has become obvious that the powerful routinely break their promises. It’s therefore amazing that the sovereign God always keeps His promises, and even more so when we think about how frequently we break our promises to Him.

He has the power to control nature. He is the mighty Creator and I am in awe of Him.

It amazes me at times that even though we might turn our backs on God, He still directs us back to Him and He keeps His promises even though we do not see them right away.

He has complete control over His creation. Meaning nothing in this world is beyond His realm. He can change any situation and circumstance. Glory to God.

God is for us even when we do wrong.
