In the section “Settlement: Seeing God,” what truth about God impressed you the most? Why?

God is much more than we can ever comprehend. His forgiveness calls on me to forgive.
Consequences of our actions is God’s way of bringing us back to his loving fatherly care. He knows where peace lies. With him. -
His power and His presence. We choose, as the Israelites did, to walk in His will or outside His will. Either way there are consequences. But He is always present with His children. Don’t think I keep that powerful truth in my consciousness enough.

God is a God of love and is always with us even though sometimes it does not always seem it. He is a loving God who keeps His promises.

He keeps his promises. Because all of His promises are Yes and Amen! Thank you Jesus!

What impressed me the most about the truth about God the depth of God’s love for us. Its hard for me to comprehend how many times he forgave us before he punished us. I don’t understand how he could be as patient as he was or even why he cared about us the way he did because compared to him we are insignificant.
