Macro-Observation give a much larger overview of an entire book, where the Miccro-Observation drills in more on a specific portions of scripture.
-
Macro-Observation give you a view of the whole book whereas the Miccro-Observation focuses on a specific and/or invidual portion of scripture.

The main difference is the level of detail with which the text is observed. Micro-observation would go into the nitty-gritty of grammatical analysis, at which every word can be looked at and mined for detail. This level of detailed analysis generally won’t take place in macro-observation.

Macro is a high level or telescopic view of the entire book, whereas micro is a microscopic view of a verse, paragraph or chapter

Macro observation deals with the Bible in its entirety. It tells a complete story. Micro observation tells a story within a story using specific verses or passages.
