Macro-observation is looking at the whole picture whereas the Micro-observation shows the Pices that make up the big picture.
-
The main difference is the depth in which you study. Macro requires a quick overview, while micro requires a deeper look at a small amount of text.
-
The biggest difference is the macro study focuses on the entire book where as the micro study focuses on a specific passage. The macro study is move of an overview where as the micro study is more detailed.
-
The difference can be describe very easily by looking at a grocery store. Macro would be walking the main aisles of the store looking at what is in each smaller aisle but not looking at any individual products. Micro on the other hand would be walking down each aisle of the store and study what is in each aisle, what different brands of each product they have, why it is arranged the way it is.

In doing a macro observation you are looking at the big picture, where in micro you are looking at the details
