I have never felt like giving it up, but HAVE felt tested and weighted down by trials. There have been a couple of times when I cried out – literally – for help and received it. God’s peace has sustained me, and I know He is right here.

Yes when I was young in the faith , I started thinking that God wanted African Americans to be subject to ridicule , the largest population of sicknesses used for experimentation, harvested for body parts, most incarcerated murdered and lynched with no recourse etc… I started feeling like what’s the use here we’re being persecuted the only future is to be metrisable. So that night as my tears were flowing I asked why is it like this, I was felling betrayed. I didn’t want to be associated with this religion, I was starting to go back to my old ways live and die.
That night God spoke to me and said that it’s not what it looks like… I started to think this was my imagination my own mind talking I didn’t need this…it was at this time that God gave me two examples Abraham and Peter.
God gave Abraham an ever lasting covenant with him and that through him would every nation and speech would be blessed. Peter and Cornelis.. God had to show Peter that no human is unclean ,Cornelis sent his most trusted servants to bring him back with them. As Peter was preaching the Holy Spirit moved on the household and they spoke in tongues. Peter was surprised and knew that God had no respect of people.
God didn’t break His promise to Abraham the covenant l is still in effect and through Jesus the world is being blessed.
