In this lecture we learned that Hebrews was written to people who were tempted to abandon their new faith in Christ. Have you ever been tempted to give up your faith in Christ? What helped sustain your faith at that time?

I have not been tempted to abandon my faith but I sometimes take my faith for granted and don’t make as much effort to grow, learn and develop my relationship with Christ.

When I was a new Christian, I was romantically involved with an unbeliever. This relationship caused me to stray from the faith for a while. Thankfully, the prayers and admonition of family caused me to repent and rededicate my life to Christ. I have never been tempted to abandon my faith since then.

Yes sometimes when I was younger and wanted “more proof” but I would pray and God would answer and I saw His mighty hand and I can’t deny him.

Yes, I have been tempted to give up my faith in Christ. Jesus Christ speaking to me through my Mother (Repeating things that I told to nobody) brought me back to him. I’m thankful for his mercy and grace!

I turned my back on my Faith, used it when I was in trouble and it was always there to help me. Now I actively work through my faith, it has made me a better person for me and everyone else in my life.
