In this lecture we learned that Hebrews was written to people who were tempted to abandon their new faith in Christ. Have you ever been tempted to give up your faith in Christ? What helped sustain your faith at that time?

I have not really been tempted to give up my faith. I have always held strong to the belief that Jesus has died for me. I have questioned ideas and truths from the Bible though. I think research in the Bible and a strong belief in God has helped me through these questions.

I am very grateful to live in a country where we have religious freedom and rights to where we can openly follow Christ and not be in danger. I have never been tempted to give up my faith in Christ.

I have never given up my faith in Jesus. I have questioned why things have happened in my life and if Jesus would help me get through it. He did help me get through it and now I can help others who are dealing similiar situation.

While I haven’t been tempted to give up my faith fully, I have been tempted to give up the works or fruit that demonstrates my faith.
