I have been tempted by wanting to go to worldly things but I know they will not satisfy. My community reminds me of such and I sustain the faith.

Not to give up on my faith, but there have been times that I haven’t been as strong in my faith as i should have been. I think through hardships my faith has become stronger.

Not to give it up, but to hide it or to make it less. “Did God really say?” Knowing the truth helps combat lies

being a new believer, and in a difficult situation in my life and family and marriage, i became angry with Jesus because it seemed to me that He was not helping me in the circumstance I was in. I had finally took off my necklace with Jesus’s name on it and told Him I was done turning to Him. It was no more than a few days later that the thought came very clear and sharply that if I walked away, I needed to consider my actions. I may never turn back. being reminded that salvation is only through Jesus, the thought stopped me in my tracks, and I know that I was given a truth from the Lord, and His grace to invite me to stay in Him, because my life depended on it. the time is very clear to me as if it were yesterday. I am certain it was the grace of Jesus through His Holy Spirit in His truth that sustained me

I can rememer as a middle school girl telling a boy that I liked that God was not really important to me. He told me that I was wrong. LOL I must have shown him prior to that how much I loved God. I am thankful he held me to my conviction.
