Jesus taught the parable of the widow’s mite and the widow searching for her lost coin. Both of these resonant with me because since I have become a widow every penny counts but I always remember that God promised to take care of me as I walk the shadowy vale and He has because He loves me.
Jesus healed physically in order to have an outward sign of an inward miracle which was the forgiveness of sin. I also remind people that He always determined whether or not the person really wanted to be healed because, back then, having a disability and being beggar was a totally acceptable way of making a living. As it is today some people really would rather not work hard to earn money but Jesus knew the heart and the true need. If He heals you are you ready to give Him everything and work for Him?

A miracles would be when Jesus healed the man lowered through the roof. A parable would be an example of the good samaritan.

One of Jesus’s miracles He did was feeding the five thousand.
One of Jesus’s parables is the story of the good neighbor ( good Samaritan).

Miracle: the feeding of the multitude, through which Jesus taught that He was the bread of heaven which is the only thing that can truly satisfy.
Parable: the parable of the prodigal son, through which Jesus reveals the Father’s heart for His people and addresses wrong ways of relating to Him.
