Jesus communicated that he was the Son of God and God in the flesh by performing miracles that no human is capable of. For example, bringing Lazarus back to life. Jesus also communicated through parables such as the seed and the sower which give examples of how the word of God is received by humans.

Jesus’s feeding of the 5000 from just a small amount of food is amazing and one of the best examples to me of His miracles. The story of the seeds and the soil is my favorite parable because it shows that we need to understand where we are planted in order to live in Christ!

An example of a miracle was when Jesus turned the water into wine at the wedding. A parable is the use of a story by Jesus to illustrate a lesson. My favorite parable is that of the prodigal son.

When Jesus changed the water into wine, he transcended chemistry and time. This gave evidence or proof that He is the Son of God. It also showed His compassion for his mother and other people. The parable of the Good Samaritan teaches us how we should treat someone in need, regardless of who they are.
