Without God’s word to instruct us in how to live, we would not have the Truth about the holy living God calls us to. Instead, we would have to decide for ourselves.

Without specific teaching on how to live a spiritual life, we as Christians would be like professional sports players without a coach. We need to fully understand what is expected of us as born again believers. Yes, we are heaven bound, but are we living our lives as such? With our default setting still as sinful people, we need constant guidance and coaching as to what is correct in living for Christ. The New Testament teachings are essential for us to know how to treat one another, how to rightly divide the Word of Truth, how to interact with our government, how to have successful family and marriage relationships, how to function within the local church and universal Church, and how to do so much more! We have a series of letters inspired by the Holy Spirt. Who would not want to read mail sent to us from Someone who loves us?

You wouldn’t know how to live it. We wouldn’t have the knowledge of it.

You wouldn’t know God the way you do with the teachings in the Bible. You would have a very difficult time figuring out what to do and not do.

Without teaching on how to live the Christian life, it would be like trying to navigate a maze without a map. We might feel lost or confused about what to do or how to make good choices. Spiritual instruction helps us understand God’s teachings, guiding us to live in a way that reflects love, kindness, and faithfulness. Without it, we could easily misunderstand our beliefs and struggle to build strong relationships with God and others.
