I am very familiar with the New Testament. However, in the past several months, my perception has profoundly changed. I have gained new insights about the New Testament, particularly regarding how many churches reject the Old Testament and focus exclusively on the New Testament.

The New Testament originally began in the Old Testament. To fully understand the New Testament, it is essential to grasp the Old Testament, with its accounts of God’s creation, promises, relationships with humankind, and prophecies.

Many churches teach replacement theology, which is a tragic doctrine. Replacement theology emphasizes the rejection of the Old Testament.

I have read and studied the New Testament many times. (Currently, I am copying/re-writing the book of John as a new way to read that book.) Each section of the New Testament, whether the Gospels, Acts, Epistles, or Revelation, speaks clearly of who Jesus is and His expectations for those who call themselves His followers.

I have read the NT several times and am working my way through it again (Finishing John). Every time I read it I learn something new. I very much enjoyed the breakdown in this lesson.

I am familiar with the New Testament tums previous study. It is important to see the connections the Old Testament and to see it stand on its own.

I am quite familiar of it because I’ve been reading the Bible for years. But even so, I am aware that there’s still huge space for learning, encounter, and revelation from God.
