Early morning care (with breakfast), lunch availability, and after-care; tutoring availability; weekly chapel service for spiritual development; sports programs and monthly social events.

Our school has set as a goal this past school year to better our communication with parents. We added a family fun night event that allowed us to build relationships with parents outside just disciplinary issues. This allowed us to truly work together as a team through the school year, and set us up for successful partnership and communication.

We believe in partnership. Parents and school work together.

The small rural school in which I work has teachers and administrators who work closely with parents. We are all encouraged to reach out with communication about what the students are doing, especially when it is “good”. Its been an encouragement to me to look for the good and report that to the parents, no matter how old the student is!

Parenting seminars, grade level parent meet ups, much open communication. Parents really appreciate these measures and it makes them feel like a valued part of the school community.
