At our school, we have a morning /afternoon care for students of working parents. This helps to build community by supporting our parents.
-
We host many activities where the parents are invited to come in, even fundraisers, “require” parent help.
-
When we have conferences, we have a wide range of times of different days where parents are able to come in. Additionally, teachers and other staff regularly communicate with parents, and parents feel comfortable to be in touch and work with the school to support their students.
-
Parents are always welcome and encourage to be actively involved, as the mission statement is to “Glorify God by partnering with families to educate, inspire, and equip students to know and serve Jesus Christ among all nations by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

We have open communication with the parents. We encourage them to volunteer and have a Parent Teacher Organization. The principal is outside every morning to greet parents when they drop their child off for school.
