There is a parent organization. Meetings are held frequently where parents can get involved. There was a recent effort to bring parents in to help show them the value of Christian education for the entire family.

My school is open early for parents. It offers a service each morning for everyone to start the day off as a family in prayer and fellowship. They also have afterschool programs that go into a time where parents can pick the kids up after. It means students are involved in more programs and activities and the parents feel like part of the school. This helps everyone.

We offer ways for them to connect socially. We also offer before and after school care!

At our school we offer breakfast for students, opportunities for free/reduced lunch, and tuition assistance. Additionally we encourage parent participation in things like work days, construction, prayer meetings, volunteering, and PTO events. All of these help parents feel like they are taking ownership and they are a valued part of the organization.

I support parents by providing consistent communication about what we are learning in the classroom. This helps them to feel included in their child’s education.
