We support parents through regular communication, workshops, and providing resources for at-home learning. This has led to stronger parent-teacher relationships and improved student engagement and performance.

Our school posts lesson plans / curriculum online. Parents have access to student’s grades and assignments. Parents are also welcome and invited into the classroom. Involved parents make involved students.

My school actively involves parents, partnering them in the educating of their children. Our goal is to allow parents to become involved, yet let students take responsibility for their learning. Involved parents make involved studets.

At our school we try to get parents involved in everything that’s going on. There are weekly emails sent out. There are events for them to participate in, even something as simple as coffee and muffins on certain occasions for them to come in and sit with their child for a bit before classes start and interact. Parents come and pick students up directly from the classroom to give a chance for them to interact with their child’s teacher every day and form that communication and relationship.
