Paying with them, for them, they see how it impacts them during prayer and now students ask to lead prayer and take over the prayer request.
Being organized so they know where things are and how to replace things back to their place. Helps teach them organizational skills and responsibilities.

My classroom is very organized, my materials as well as the students. They thank me all the time for having things in place and they know what they need to do when entering the class. They know my expectations in class, as sometimes I do not have to give a reminder, the students remind the ones that need it. I also nurture my students by having conversations with parents when decisions need to be made.

Presently, I am working with my children in learning the power of positivity, essentially by speaking good words and having good thoughts about themselves and towards others. I am still waiting for the impact of this.
Secondly, my children are starting to see the need for prayers. We have learnt to pray many times before the start of class and also when we have a child that is not feeling too well. The children are now at the point where they think to pray for one another.

I pray for my students and encourage them to share their prayer requests so we can pray together as a class. I also share my testimonies of answered prayers, which has inspired many of them to share their own as well. I lead the class in praying for those who are sick and give thanks to God when they return to school.
The class I currently teach was very challenging in terms of behavior last year. However, through consistent expressions of love, care, and God’s help, there has been a remarkable transformation in them this year—something even other faculty members have noticed.

I welcome them every morning, ask about their day so far, and also remind them to frequently show me their emotions through our mood chart. We give lots of hugs, high-fives, and smiles as well. I also nurture them academically by setting achievable academic goals and supporting them.
