I think I nurture my students by greeting them and allowing questions from them and making personal connections with them. Also, I always have a slide displayed as they enter my room, specific to each class, letting them know what their upcoming period is going to be. This helps them feel safe in their environment.

I try to play games with them at recess. I try to get to know them all personally as best as I would be able to in a short time. I am an electives teacher so I see most of my kids only once or twice per week. I have seen them want more time.

One way that I nurture my students is greeting them every day at the door. Spending time with them at recess in order to Catch up. I also work on problems with them at my desk or walk around and help them all the time.

I nurture my students through affirmation and praise when things are being done well or when I see improvement. This definitely builds and edifies my students leading to further progress in their journey.

I nurture my students by offering support, listening to their concerns, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. This has led to increased confidence and engagement in their learning.
