In what ways do you feel you currently nurture your students? How have you seen this impact them?

I believe in creating relationships. There is always a comum ground between students and teachers, we just have to find where you will bond with each student. This is my favorite practice.

Interacting with them outside of class has been helpful. I am one of the band moms, and will continue this role.

I try to take time to build relationships, challenge them academically and hold them to a high standard.

I listen to my students and I help them if they have questions. I acknowledge the right choices with praise and rewards.

I say good morning to every student each morning. I also have a morning meeting where we discuss life and problems that may arise in our classroom.
