Constantly reminding them that they are created with purpose. I believe that Psalm 139 should be a passage that every teacher (and thus, every student) is closely familiar with as it directly contradicts the message they hear from the world.

I make my students feel valued by building a positive relationship with them, I pray for them and with them, I always assure my students their are smart, they are capable of learning, and are so capable of following God.
