My students feel valued when I co-opt them in my teaching, get them involved, give room for all-inclusiveness, make them participate actively in class discussion and listen & provide answers to their questions.

My students feel valued when I am approachable and kind. I am available to answer their questions and help them learn. They know they can bring their concerns to me and I will listen. I will defend them and stick up for them when needed.

1. I ask them to pray for my concerns, and when I receive testimonies, I share them.
2. I encourage my students to teach me about new-generation games, stories, and movies.
3. I remind them that I don’t know everything, but we all need to learn from Jesus, who is the greatest teacher of all time.

1. I set high standards and encourage students.
2. I communicate my “why” in terms of academic philosophy, instructional delivery, lesson design, and overall goals/objectives.
3. I give them choices and opportunities to be leaders.
4. I call them by name and pray for them.
5. I continually stress the scriptural truths regarding their value and purpose.
6. I don’t give up on them.

I apply the principle that no student is left behind. I respect individual views about any issues, allow them to express themselves and respect the views of others. I make them to take responsibility of their actions and sustain what works without hurting the feelings of others.
