In what ways do you make your students feel valued?

I always remind them they are special and have a purpose because God created them. I tell them that their struggles are only going to make them stronger. I tell them everyday that I love them and am so glad I get to be their teacher.

Students feel valued when they know teachers truly care and love them.

Students feel valued when they are considered image-bearers of God, so we need to treat them as such. Their thoughts and opinions matter, plus their whole being is considered valuable.

Helping them discover their strengths and talents and positive encouragement.

I try to take time to get to know them and ask them questions. When they are not doing well I try to encourage them. I think the biggest thing is just being present on a regular basis for them.
