Praise them every day and welcoming them to course. Listening to them and helping them answer any questions that they may have. Introducing the students to God and helping them understand that they are important and valued by all

By taking interest in them and by never marginalizing them.

I make my students feel valued by encouragement and specific rewards for the students. I want to make sure I know their specific favorites and meet their needs.

Specific encouragement- “I am proud of the way I saw you speak to ____ and take up for him when other students give him a hard time. ” “I know this test was difficult and I’m so proud of the extra time you put into studying.”

There are a number of ways i try to make students feel valued. One of those is by encouraging them in their studies, not berating them when they fail. Giving them the tools necessary to study well, and encouraging them to use them carefully. Speaking to students in a genuine way, no matter the circumstances; even discipline. Making sure they hear that I love them a lot. Helping them reach their potential for their own benefit.
