In what ways do you make your students feel valued?

By treating them as Christ treats us–by walking beside them, getting to know them, educating wisdom with patience and love, encouraging to go further, listening to their worries, and by using a different teaching method if needed.

I think I’m always kind and patient with students. I try to treat them as I would like to be treated. I apologize when I make a mistake , misspeak or if I’m rude to them. Because I want them to know that we all make mistakes and we need to forgive and keep going forward. I try to ask them about what’s going on in their life to show that I care, I really do care. I hope this makes them feel valued to know that someone cares about them.

One way I make my students feel valued is by listening to them.

I have found that lots of praise, one on one attention/conversations and prayer with each of them is best…especially for young students.

It is so important to make students to feel valued everyday.
I like to greet my students everyday at he classroom door before entering.
I take interested in what they like to do, I encourage them to do their best, and always think in difficult situation
“What Jesus would do” We pray in course before starting course. I reward them for school achievement and good Christian behavior.
