Because I teach Spanish and need them to hear the language, they hear daily affirmations as they walk through the door, first in Spanish and then translated to English. We also use the Bible as the foundation for language learning and memorize scriptures that express value in our opportunity and ability to learn.

I love each one of the students that God puts into my classroom. I learn their names, fun facts about them, I hug them, give them fist bumps, make handshakes with them, and I sing and dance with them. I want them to know I care about them, but most importantly that they are God’s children and he will always love and care about them.
