To make students feel valued, I focus on providing encouragement by regularly affirming their efforts and achievements. I hold them accountable by setting high expectations while offering support for their growth.

By greeting them every day. Listening to them when they tell me things that are happening in their lives.

I value their feelings, emotions, and ideas.

I listen to my students. I take their ideas into consideration. I care for them. I treat them like people. I also help them understand that we are all God’s children and should treat each other with kindness.

I take to time to ask how they are doing. I listen to what they have to say and acknowledge how they are feeling.
