Value their emotions and feelings by acknowledgment their growth in life

The ways I help my students feel valued is by making them feel their thoughts, feelings, and opinions matter. Showing students that I care by showing patience, and encouragement. An environment that is safe.

Attentively listening to each student, encouraging students, let students know they matter and they can make a difference.

Reminding them that they are special, important, loved. Listening to them and showing interest in things that may seem small to us but make them feel important and understood. Showing them that we care about them and what they have to say.
Teaching them how God sees them and how God loves them and everything about them in their different ways of being.
