This is my first year teaching, but my belief in Christ and that he has given us our lives, bodies, and purpose as a gift to be used to serve him and our fellow man will always be on the forefront of everything I teach

My belief in Jesus Christ influences every part of my classroom. The way I interact with students to how a prepare a lesson is influenced by my walk with Christ. I demonstrate. biblical principle in the classroom such as: kindness, gentleness, honesty and patience. Also, students want to know that they can come and ask question no matter the size. My belief in Jesus helps me be a better educator because I see the value of each student through His eyes as well as mine.

My belief in Jesus Christ is the epitome of all lessons taught, strategies implemented, and lesson plans given. With an in-depth understanding of His word, I am able to infuse, integrate His theoretical method of teaching academically- causing students to see Him in each subject being presented.

I believe it should influence everything in my classroom. The way I teach, the way I interact with the students, how I plan my lesson and look ways to bring Him into centerstage. Even the way the classroom is decorated should make it very clear to whoever comes in, that the one who reigns in my life and in that classroom is the Lord Jesus Christ.

My belief in Jesus Christ currently influences my classroom because the most important thing a student can know is Jesus Christ. He said he was the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through him. Through many of my lessons in Bible course I make the effort to point out that Jesus was more than just a good moral teacher. He is the Son of God! C.S. Lewis said that he was either Lord, liar or lunatic. Jesus could not have been a simply good moral teacher and then make claims that he was God. That would actually make him a bad teacher or just someone who is crazy or mistaken. Everything has to center around who is Jesus and how can we come to know him. Without him we have nothing.
