My belief in Jesus Christ influences my teaching as I will always translate my testimony to my students of how He saved me from an accident that was about taking my life. That personal encounter has continued to be a part of my teaching ministry.

I currently homeschool but with my own children, Jesus is the focal point of all education. If you study math, logic, British Literature, or science the goal is the same: to glorify God. If Jesus is Lord, He is worthy of not just study, but obedience. Sometimes it is putting aside a textbook for a time to deal with a student’s heart and their relationship with Christ because the ultimate goal is much larger than a grade on a test.

I try to make sure that everything we read is brought back to the Scriptures. I also try to engage the students in biblical conversations, even apart from the curriculum. I feel strongly about organically incorporating Christ in everything.

My belief in Jesus Christ influences everything that I do in my classroom. Because I believe that God has called me to be a Christian school educator, I try my best to ensure that Christ remains the center of my lessons, classroom management, instruction, and interaction with my students.

My belief in Jesus Christ definitely affects the way I act around my students and how I treat them. Jesus gave us wonderful examples of how to deal with all sorts of people, how to respond, and even what to say.
