My faith in Christ and my relationship with him influences how I present my lessons as well as how I interact with the students and handle questions especially on world event topics.

My belief in Jesus is the lens though which I introduce all topics, subjects, and ideas in the classroom. My students and I look to draw comparisons in all subjects to our studies in the Bible, and I teach them to look at all events through the Creation/Fall/Redemption/Restoration model.

We are made by our Creator. Not only made, but we are made in His image. Christ created us for a purpose, to have a relationship with Him. I need to be showing my students the relationship I have with Christ and how I grow that relationship. I need to set the example for them to follow. I also need to let them know I am not perfect, and that is why I too am in need of a Savior.

I am a Bible teacher. I believe in Christ and therefore it has a direct impact on my course due to the nature of the subject I teach.

As students examine literature, they come face to face with the history of human’s attempt at understanding what is real, how we discern truth, and what has value. As students learn to infer what authors have to say about these kinds of questions, they are directed to consider man’s answers to those found in scripture. It’s my goal that my belief in Jesus Christ should also guide my attitudes and actions toward my students.
