It completely changes the way that I respond to students. When students are disobedient or disrespectful, I am able to be patient because I know how patient God has been with me. Also, I know that they can be redeemed by Christ.

My belief in Jesus Christ surrounds my classroom. I have been working/ teaching in a christian environment since 1995. I believe that God has called me to each and every job to be the light that shines his word in the classroom. Over the last few years I have noticed how even in Christian education not all teachers have a strong foundation in the Lord. I believe that my classroom shines for the Lord I speak about Jesus in almost everything we do.

My belief in Christ influences all of my actions. My belief allows me to forgive, be patient, kind, and loving. My faith in Christ allows me to trust in his purposes when plays go awry.

My belief in Jesus Christ influences my classroom by how I treat my students, colleagues and parents. I see each individual as an image bearer, someone created in the image of God, and treat them as such. This even has a profound impact when dealing with that difficult student or parent.
