I identify wanting to know the word more, having a greater understanding of context and bible history and being able to explain the word of God to unbelievers (witnessing). These are most important to me at this point in my journey with God. My overall goal for wanting to study the bible better is to draw closer to God in Christ.

I study because I choose to. I have taken basic ministry classes before but did not get my certificates. I had a tuft time with the “Big Idea” part of the Micro Observations, so I am looking forward to correcting my 2021 and 2022 journals in that area.

I want to study the Bible to grow in knowledge and wisdom of Gods way! Be more in tune with myself and what God is calling me to do! Get to know Him intimately to let go of self and focus more on Him.

I would like to know more about God and I would like to know how to read and understand the Bible so that I can teach others. I would like to be able to help new believers to know how to read the Bible.

My overall goal for wanting to study the Bible better is because of a traumatic childhood, I find it very difficult to believe that God actually loves me. I know it in my mind, but it needs to penetrate my heart. I cannot love God wholly if I don’t understand his love for me.
